The Razer Nabu is designed to be the world's first social wearable. Pulse allows 2 or more Razer Nabus in a specified proximity to automatically exchange unique user tags which 3rd party apps can use to help users make new friends, discover people with similar interests, create multiplayer gaming experiences and more! You can initiate conversations or trigger events by high-fiving one another.
The scope of the challenge is to create a new app that harnesses the social capabilities of the Razer Nabu. It can be apps across all categories - be it fitness, business or adding on a new dimension to existing social apps.
Examples:
Fitness: discover nearby runners and their routes and fitness activities. Compare fitness data and see how you fare.
Social discovery: discovery nearby people with similar interests and establish a form of communication. Tailor it to specific categories such as finding out what nearby people are listening to and exchanging song information with a high-five.
Social game: compete with other Nabu users and add each other as friends through a high-five.
There are many creative possibilities and we are excited to see what you can do! We want anyone to be able to discover and use the magic of Nabu. We are looking for apps that can connect with the people and use the Nabu to bring delightful experiences to their lives by complementing, not replacing their phones.
